DOCUMENT 5 — ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Version: v1.0 Effective Date: 1 July 2026

Acceptable Use Policy

Unhide AI Ltd, trading as Unhide Registered in England and Wales Company Number: 14771976

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules and standards that apply to all use of the Unhide Platform at unhide.co.uk. The purpose of this Policy is to protect the integrity, security, and lawful operation of the Platform, to protect the rights and interests of all users, and to ensure that Unhide is used only for its intended purpose.

This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and forms part of the binding agreement between you and Unhide AI Ltd. By registering for or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP in full.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This AUP applies to:

  • All registered users of the Unhide Platform
  • Any person accessing the Platform, whether registered or not
  • Anyone using the Platform on behalf of another person, where permitted under these rules

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Unhide Platform for the following purposes only:

  • Personal, non-commercial use — tracking your own personal data using the tracker templates available in the Platform catalogue, for your own individual insight and awareness
  • Caregiver use — logging data about another person who is in your direct care (e.g. a child or dependent adult), subject to the conditions in Section 5 below and our Sensitive Data Use Policy
  • Account management — managing your subscription, settings, and profile

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on or in connection with the Platform:

4.1 Age Restriction

You must not use the Platform if you are under 18 years of age. The Platform is designed for adults. If you are under 18, you must not register, and any account created by a person under 18 will be terminated and all associated data deleted immediately upon discovery.

4.2 Impersonation and Fraudulent Accounts

You must not:

  • Create an account using another person's identity or contact details without their express authority
  • Create an account purporting to represent an organisation, business, or group unless you have authority to do so
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, our policies, or any restriction applied to your account
  • Use a shared, pooled, or proxy account that provides Platform access to multiple distinct individuals in a manner that circumvents our subscription model

4.3 Deliberate Entry of False Data

You must not deliberately enter data you know to be false or fabricated with the intention of manipulating, gaming, or generating misleading AI analysis outputs. While entry errors and inaccuracies are a natural part of self-reporting and are not a policy violation, systematic deliberate falsification of entries is prohibited.

4.4 Abuse of the AI Analysis Feature

You must not:

  • Attempt to manipulate the AI analysis feature to generate outputs that circumvent its intended purpose
  • Attempt to "jailbreak" the AI system — that is, introduce prompts, structured data inputs, or other techniques designed to cause the AI to produce outputs outside its designed function as a personal data pattern analyser
  • Attempt to extract the underlying AI prompts, model weights, or any proprietary logic from the Platform
  • Use the AI analysis feature in a manner intended to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
  • Attempt to probe the AI system's safety filters or boundaries

4.5 Automated Access and Scraping

You must not:

  • Use any automated tool, script, bot, crawler, spider, or scraping technology to access, extract, or copy data from the Platform
  • Submit tracker entries via automated means, bulk upload tools, or scripted processes rather than genuine manual entry
  • Extract, aggregate, or export data from the Platform in bulk via any method not explicitly provided by us (e.g. the official data export function)
  • Access the Platform's API (if any) beyond the limits and terms under which API access was granted

4.6 Reverse Engineering

You must not:

  • Attempt to decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or derive source code from any part of the Platform
  • Attempt to extract, reproduce, or reconstruct the AI analysis prompts, workflows, data processing logic, or any proprietary element of the Platform
  • Use AI tools or other technical methods to analyse, reproduce, or clone any aspect of the Platform's functionality

4.7 Security and Unauthorised Access

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, its servers, its databases, or any systems connected to it
  • Attempt to exploit any vulnerability, bug, or misconfiguration in the Platform
  • Attempt to access data belonging to any other user
  • Introduce malware, viruses, Trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious code into the Platform
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks, brute-force attacks, or any attack that disrupts the availability or performance of the Platform for other users
  • Intercept, monitor, or alter any communications passing between users and the Platform
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security, authentication, or access control feature of the Platform

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to us at support@unhide.co.uk and do not exploit it.

4.8 Illegal Use

You must not use the Platform:

  • For any activity that is unlawful under any applicable law or regulation
  • To facilitate or assist with any unlawful activity
  • In a manner that violates any court order, regulatory notice, or enforcement action against you
  • To store, transmit, or process data obtained unlawfully from a third party

4.9 Unlawful or Harmful Content

You must not upload to the Platform any photo, PDF, or other file that:

  • Contains illegal content, including (without limitation) child sexual abuse material, content that glorifies violence, or material that constitutes a criminal offence under UK law
  • Infringes the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party
  • Contains malicious code, executable files, or material intended to harm the Platform or other users

Content moderation on Unhide is limited, as the Platform is a private personal tracking tool. However, we reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts where unlawful content is identified.

4.10 Commercial Resale and Sublicensing

You must not:

  • Resell, license, sublicense, or transfer access to the Platform to any third party for commercial gain
  • Include Unhide access as a component of a product or service you offer to others
  • Use the Platform to provide a data tracking or analysis service to third parties (whether paid or unpaid) without our express written consent

5. Caregiver Use — Tracking Data About Another Person

Some tracker templates on the Platform are designed for use by an adult who is logging data about a person in their care — for example:

  • A parent tracking a child's growth milestones, health measurements, or developmental progress
  • A carer logging observations about an adult in their care
  • A user tracking symptoms or health data on behalf of a family member (e.g. an elderly parent)

If you use the Platform in a caregiver capacity, you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or over
  • You have proper parental responsibility, legal guardianship, or another recognised form of legal authority to log and process data about the person you are tracking
  • Where the person you are tracking is an adult with capacity, you have obtained their informed consent to log their data on this Platform
  • You understand that data about another person entered into the Platform is subject to all the terms of this AUP and our Privacy Policy and Sensitive Data Use Policy
  • You will delete data about another person if you no longer have authority to hold it, or if the person in question requests its removal

6. Prohibition on Clinical and Medical Use

You must not use the Unhide Platform:

  • As a clinical decision support tool in any healthcare setting
  • As a substitute for, or supplement to, clinical assessment by a qualified medical professional
  • To make or inform any medical diagnosis
  • To determine, recommend, or adjust any course of medication or treatment
  • As a medical device within the meaning of the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002

Unhide is not a medical device. The AI analysis generated by the Platform is for personal pattern awareness only. If your tracker data raises concerns about your health or the health of a person in your care, you must consult a qualified medical professional. Do not rely on any AI-generated analysis as a substitute for medical advice.

7. Consequences of Breach

If we reasonably determine that you have breached this AUP or the Terms of Service, we may, at our discretion:

  • Issue a written warning
  • Temporarily suspend your access to all or part of the Platform
  • Permanently terminate your account and all associated data (with notice where practicable, without notice where the breach is serious, immediate, or irremediable)
  • Remove any content you have uploaded that violates this AUP
  • Refer the matter to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law or where the breach involves criminal activity

Where your account is terminated for material breach, you will not be entitled to a refund of any unused subscription period.

We will always endeavour to give you the opportunity to respond before taking irreversible action (such as account deletion), except where the breach is of a nature that requires immediate action to protect other users, the Platform, or third parties.

8. Reporting Abuse

If you become aware of another user breaching this AUP, or if you discover a security vulnerability in the Platform, please report it to us:

Email: support@unhide.co.uk

Please provide as much detail as possible. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you by email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
