We do not offer free trials. The Free plan is our entry point. Paid subscriptions begin immediately upon successful payment.
5.6 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing. Where we do so, we will give you at least 30 days' written notice by email to your registered address before any new price takes effect on your subscription. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
6. Auto-Renewal and Billing
6.1 Auto-Renewal
Your subscription (whether monthly or annual) will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal is at the price applicable to your plan at the time of renewal.
6.2 Renewal Reminder
In accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumer Act 2024 ("DMCCA 2024"), we will send you a reminder email at least 3 days before your subscription auto-renews. This reminder will state the renewal date, the amount due, the plan being renewed, and how to cancel.
For annual subscriptions, we will send a renewal reminder at least 30 days before the renewal date.
6.3 Billing
All payments are processed by Stripe Inc. Your payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored by Unhide. By providing payment details, you authorise Stripe to charge your card on a recurring basis in accordance with the billing cycle you have selected.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry in accordance with their standard retry schedule. If payment cannot be collected after retries, we may suspend your access to paid features until payment is resolved.
All prices are in GBP (British Pounds Sterling) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required by law.
7. 14-Day Statutory Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ("CCR 2013"), you have the right to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund within 14 calendar days of the date on which your subscription begins ("Cancellation Period"), without giving any reason.
7.1 Exception — Express Consent to Immediate Service Provision
Because our service (including AI analysis) is a digital service that can only begin delivery upon your request, we may ask you at the point of subscription to expressly consent to the service commencing immediately, before the end of the 14-day Cancellation Period.
Specifically:
- —When you request your first AI analysis during the Cancellation Period, you are presented with a notice explaining that: (a) you are requesting immediate commencement of that element of the service; (b) by proceeding, you acknowledge and agree that you lose your right to cancel under CCR 2013 from that point.
- —By clicking to confirm and proceed with your first AI analysis request, you give your express consent to the service commencing immediately, in accordance with Regulation 36(1) of the CCR 2013.
If you request an AI analysis during the Cancellation Period, your right to cancel under CCR 2013 is extinguished from the moment you confirm that request.
7.2 Exercising the Right to Cancel During the Cancellation Period
If you wish to cancel within the 14-day Cancellation Period without having requested an AI analysis, contact us at support@unhide.co.uk with the subject line "Cancellation Request" and provide your account email address. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. Your account will revert to the Free plan.
Alternatively, you may cancel directly via Dashboard → Settings → Billing and contact us separately for the refund if applicable.
Please see our Refund and Cancellation Policy for full details.
8. DMCCA 2024 Compliance — Subscription Transparency
In accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumer Act 2024, we are committed to clear subscription transparency. Specifically:
- —At the point of purchase, we will clearly state the plan name, the price per billing period, the billing cycle, the auto-renewal date, and the fact that your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled
- —We will send renewal reminders as described in Section 6.2
- —Cancellation is available at all times via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription, without requiring you to contact support
- —We will not impose unreasonable barriers to cancellation
9. Subscription Pause and Cancellation
9.1 Pause
Plus and Pro subscribers may pause their subscription for a maximum of 3 consecutive months at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Pause Subscription. During a pause:
- —Billing is suspended
- —Your data is fully preserved
- —Access to paid features is suspended
- —Your subscription resumes automatically at the end of the pause period
You will receive a reminder email 14 days and 3 days before your subscription is set to auto-resume from a pause.
9.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription (Stripe Customer Portal). Upon cancellation:
- —Your subscription remains active until the end of your current paid billing period
- —You retain full access to paid features until that date
- —At the end of the period, your account reverts to the Free plan
- —Tracker templates over the Free plan limit (2 active trackers) are paused (not deleted); your data is preserved
- —You may re-upgrade at any time to reactivate those trackers
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for mid-period cancellations after the 14-day Cancellation Period has expired, except in the circumstances set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
10. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary, you agree to use the Platform:
- —For personal, non-commercial purposes only
- —In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- —Without attempting to misuse, reverse-engineer, abuse, or exploit the Platform or its AI features
- —Without uploading unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing content
Breach of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
11. AI Analysis — Purpose, Scope, and Limitations
11.1 What AI Analysis Is
The AI analysis feature processes your logged tracker data and uses our AI provider (Anthropic PBC, operating the Claude Sonnet 4 model) to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in your data. The resulting analysis is presented to you in plain English as a personal insight report.
AI analysis is an informational tool designed to help you notice patterns in your own self-reported data. It is intended to support personal awareness and habit reflection.
11.2 What AI Analysis Is Not
AI analysis is not:
- —Medical advice — Nothing generated by the AI analysis feature constitutes medical advice, a clinical recommendation, or a therapeutic intervention
- —Clinical diagnosis — The Platform does not diagnose any disease, disorder, condition, or medical state
- —Treatment recommendation — The Platform does not recommend any course of treatment, medication, supplement, or clinical pathway
- —Financial advice — Nothing generated by the AI analysis feature in relation to financial trackers constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or any regulated financial activity

11.3 MHRA Disclaimer — Not a Medical Device
Unhide is not a medical device. The Platform has not been registered with or cleared by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) as a medical device. The Platform is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any disease or medical condition within the meaning of the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (as amended).
You must not use any AI-generated analysis or any feature of the Platform as a substitute for, or in place of, consultation with a qualified medical professional. If you have concerns about your health, always seek the advice of your doctor, a qualified clinician, or an appropriate medical professional.
11.4 Accuracy of AI Analysis
AI-generated analysis is based solely on the data you have entered into the Platform. The accuracy and relevance of any insight is dependent on the accuracy and completeness of your entries. We do not warrant that any AI-generated insight is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
12. Sensitive Data — User Responsibility and Consent
Certain tracker templates on the Platform are designated as sensitive-category templates (examples include health trackers, mental health trackers, fertility trackers, glucose and blood marker trackers). Before you can use a sensitive-category template, you are required to complete an explicit double-checkbox consent flow.
By completing that consent flow, you:
- —Acknowledge that you understand the nature of the data you are about to enter
- —Confirm that you are 18 or over
- —Consent to your sensitive data being processed in the manner described in our Sensitive Data Use Policy and Privacy Policy
- —Consent to your data being transmitted to our AI provider as part of the AI analysis feature
You are responsible for:
- —Ensuring you understand what category of data you are tracking before starting a template
- —Reviewing our Sensitive Data Use Policy before using any sensitive-category template
- —Not entering data belonging to another identifiable individual (other than in the caregiver context described in our Acceptable Use Policy) without appropriate authority
13. Content You Submit
13.1 Your Data Belongs to You
You retain full ownership of all tracker entries, photos, PDFs, and other content you submit to the Platform ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.
13.2 Licence to Process
By submitting Your Content to the Platform, you grant Unhide AI Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purposes of:
- —Delivering the Platform and its features to you
- —Transmitting relevant data to our AI provider (Anthropic PBC) as part of the AI analysis feature, subject to the terms described in our Privacy Policy
This licence terminates upon deletion of the relevant content or deletion of your account.
13.3 No Use Beyond Service Delivery
We do not use Your Content for advertising, for training AI models, or for any purpose beyond delivering the Platform to you. See Section 7 (AI Analysis) for information on Anthropic's data handling.
14. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including but not limited to: the software, source code, design, user interface, tracker templates, prompts, algorithms, features, and documentation, belong exclusively to Unhide AI Ltd. These rights are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal use in accordance with these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our express written consent.

Nothing in this Section 17 limits or excludes rights that you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
18.1 Cap on Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you (whether in contract, tort including negligence, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the Agreement shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you to Unhide in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
18.2 Exclusions

- —Services supplied by us must be provided with reasonable care and skill
- —Where we fail to do so, you have rights to require repeat performance or, where that is not possible, a price reduction
Nothing in these Terms is intended to, or shall, exclude or restrict your statutory rights as a consumer.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email to your registered email address at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect (see Section 9.2).
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your agreement to those changes.
21. Termination
21.1 Termination by You
You may close your account at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data (see our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy for details of what happens to your data and any subscription on account deletion).
21.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform with immediate effect if:
- —You breach any material provision of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy and fail to remedy the breach within 7 days of written notice from us (or immediately, where the breach is irremediable)
